    GHOST TOWNS BY DUSK

    7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

    Join Western Mining & Railroad Museum Director and local author SueAnn Martell as she leads a guided tour through the area ghost towns. Stay until dark for some scary (but true!) local ghost stories. Admission is by donation.

    THURSDAY, JUNE 5, 2008

    2nd ANNUAL BORDELLO BALL

    starts at 7:00 p.m.
    Helper Civic Auditorium

    Come celebrate Helper's unique past with the 2nd Annual Bordello Ball. The event features a sit down dinner, lecture by Utah outlaw and lawman historian Joel Frandsen, and a live auction. all proceeds benefit the Western Mining & Railroad Museum Expansion Project.

    Advanced tickets are required - $25.00 per person or $45.00 per couple. Old West style costumes are encouraged. Don't worry tenderfeet, no dancing is involved but we guarantee you will have a "ball"!

    About our speaker: Joel Frandsen is a retired U.S. Forest Service Officer having served 34 years in four different states on six National Forests. Joel is a famed historian, author and public speaker. His favorite topics include Butch Cassidy, Jack Watson and the Lost Rhoades Gold Mine.
